Finland has numerous companies with grit and resolve planning to grow in size. Kirsti Lindberg-Repo advocates for them to take their products into Southeast Asia, where there is demand and growth.

According to Kirsti Lindberg-Repo companies from Pohjanmaa have a strong base to succeed in Asia. For consumers there, quality is not enough as design is paramount. That exactly is what is offered. For example producers of fur can provide excellent quality as well as design.

The economy of Southeast Asia is growing at a breakneck speed. The generation aged under 40 consumes a lot and builds the economy.

The prerequisite for exports into the region is to know the local market and consumer preferences.
